That would be great. I would love it if they would just put in sidewalks in my neighborhood. I have lived in this neighborhood since I was 6 years old and would hate to move but at 63 I know that I will have to someday.

I like the idea of a kind of self contained neighborhood, but I also like neighborhoods with a variety of ages. I think it keeps a certain vitality in the neighborhood. Seniors and families with young children and teenagers are not mutually esclusive.

I like the idea, my neighbors and I payed for a the whole block in front of our houses. We really like it. I live here in Lapel, the Mayberry of Indiana. Eventho I keep our sidewalk clear of snow, the people still walk in the street. But then again, in the summer when they go for a walk, they still walk in the street. If you think the city will pay for it, forget it. Their broke.
