More school closings proposed, I can hear the "not my school" already, especially if they close one of the high schools.

ACS should have went to one high school when they closed MHHS. The board caved to the press. Everyone knew where Anderson was headed but no one would accept it.
They should have built one new They could have purchased land around the old AHS for a little bit of nothing and sold HHS and MHHS.
Now the need to get down to 10 or 11 buildings max and have a plan to keep cutting as enrollment decreases. Get over the foolish pride and the rants that I don't want my school to close unless you are willing to pony up the money needed to keep them open.
The city has given all the property tax money away though TIFs. Many employees hired are not even living in Anderson or even the county. This philosophy is not going to change anytime soon, so get ready for a rough decade or two Anderson.
