WASHINGTON - ****ents beware: The summer vacation you just enjoyed could be sharply curtailed if President Barack Obama gets his way.

Obama says American kids spend too little time in school, putting them at a disadvantage with other ****ents around the globe.

My thoughts exactly.

Could some one tell me if the ****s that show up in various posts are placed automatically by the software or are they placed by a moderator?

I see nothing wrong with the ****ents going to school for more months out of the year, but I don't think longer days are a very good idea. Some kids can barely get all their homework done each night and fit other evening activities in. Some districts that I'm familiar with, go to school year round and get out for short periods, like a week or two,and then go back.

The Anderson Prepatory Academy does the same thing. I like their schedule.

Why did it take 8+ hours to approve the above question and post it? And in the time you mulled it over, why didn't you provide the answer?

JLS

I do not know why it took 8+ hours, I did not mull anything over. I personally did not even see it until it posted. As for the ***'s they appear automatically.

I hope this helps.

Yes, it helps and thank you for the answer. I do have another question though that was raised by your last answer. You said, "I did not even see it until it posted." That is confusing. If it was posted BEFORE you saw my question, what caused the post to be held up and what released it? I thought that the posts went in to a queue until a moderator could approve them.
